In BEX Query WBS value shows # where as in IP upon display data the value shows up

Hi Experts,

I have a custom WBS infoobject defined with data type CHAR length 24 and conversion type ABPSP. The IO is defined without Master data / Text. The infooject is used in Purchase Order DSO fetching data from 2LIS_02_ACC. The DSO gets the values correctly e.g POSID_003 however when I create a query over it it fetches WBS values as #.

Can you please help me figuring out why and how I can resolve it?

In InfoObject Business explorer tab the dispaly is defined as Key and Query filter value setting I have defined for both 'Query Definition' & 'Query Execution' : Only value in InfoProvider.

Please assist.

Changing the Conversion routine from ABPSP to WBSEL resolved the issue.
