We are utilizing annotations in our SAPUI5 apps for OData services becauses we are using a 3rd party OData service in some cases. The annotations have made our app work very nicely, for the List, Object Page, and Overview Page. All three utilize the same annotation.xml file. We are exploring usage of Smart Business Service with app too, to create an Analytic List Page.
This blog discusses using Annotations with SBS.
However, we don't want to repeat the annotation work again in SBS that we did for the app. Instead, we'd like SBS to use the annotations from our annotations.xml file from the app. Is this possible? If not, could it be considered as a future feature as we don't want to maintain separate annotations.

Mariana,
We have Annotations for one project for a web app, along with translations of fields (i18n). Within the app, we want to take advantage of Smart Business Service to create an Analytic List Page. Smart Business Services supports Annotations for OData, and appears to use the Annotation Modeler much like our web app. However, I see no way to "import" the Annotations from the web app into Smart Business Services. It seems that I would need to maintain the same OData Annotations in the web app project, and also maintain them in the Smart business Services for the same OData service. What I want to do is maintain in one spot, which is the web app project. Or, if that was not possible, I'd like to be able to upload my Annotation and i18n translations from the web app project into Smart Business Services. It seems to me that having to maintain Annotations of the same OData service, in multiple spots, is not ideal.

Hello Nathan,
Could you please provide more information on your request?
Would you like to import the annotation file from one project to another within the same Web IDE Workspace ?
Thanks
Mariana
