Impact of Enforcing SSO on Inviting External User in SAP Signavio

Hello Everyone,

We have a question related to SSO Enforcement in SAP Signavio.

What is the impact in inviting external users if we enforce SSO login in SAP Signavio, where the external users are supposed not in our companies domain?

Scenario: actually we would like to not only ensure that all the internal users must login Signavio with SSO (by enforcing SSO), but also want to invite external users to come into the tool to provide comment and feedback.

Not sure if enforcing SSO will prevent us from inviting the external users. If yes, any experience from you if you already find a way out to achieve the scenario?

The help guides seems less talking about this specific situation.

Thank you all!

Regards,
Max

Hello Max,

we are using both, SSO for internal users and manual invite via Process Explorer to external users.

Best regards

Christian

Agree. Once you activate SSO for internal users externals can still use login using name and password.

Good day Maximilliantsi,

Thank you for sharing your inquiry within our SAP Community.  In response to your inquiry, if you activate enforce SSO, it means the manual login is enforced to all users but API (where manual login is needed for scripts). Our experience: Companies, who need to enforce SSO, having external partners at the same time creating them accounts in their SSO, and give them access to diagrams they need.

Kind regards,
