IE02 text tab not saving entries when editing Equipment

Hello,

For some users when they go to IE02 to add internal note to Equipment in text tab system is not saving the data

As a workaround they have to click on the pen and only when they type text in here it is saving:

Do you reproduce with your own SAP user? I guess that for all users it prevents saving if your ONLY change is the internal note.

Hello @krzem30 ,

After reading your question, it looks like user are trying to update the internal note directly on general data tab. While doing so few of the users are able to do it and others are not. Did you check it with Basis for authorization check?

We have made trace with auth team and there was nothing form their side. No discovery. I will ask basis from their side to check

I checked in my IDES system. It is working normally. I can update the internal note directly on screen. I have added the screen sequence 107 in the view profile in SPRO.

Yes I did the same and for me it is working but for user not. So the question is what GUI settings or descktop settings may influence that?

I have found the solution the problem is the GUI settings after GUI upgrade to 8. User had QUARTZ THEME set in SAP visual design options. I have found the OSS note. https://me.sap.com/notes/3675290/E 3675290 - Textedit not saved in Quartz theme. As a workaround we asked user to change to SAP signature theme
