IDOC Packaging - Conditional

Hi

I have invoice idoc for salesorg 9999 and Salesorg 8888. The control record is different for these idocs.

Unfortunately, when using idoc packaging, it does look only for logical message type and invoice type. due to this both the salesorg are getting packaged into one and hitting the channel.

I have configured identifier in party to differentiate both . Still both are packaged into one and hitting same communication channel .

How do i take care of this?

Hi silentbull,

Are those messages sent from SAP ERP?
If so then I can see that in theory you can processed IDoc packages according to certain selection criteria - one of those criteria is a queue name.
My idea would be to use qRFC with different queue names built based on Sales Org. value (you could handle that by creating a custom function module responsible for building rule name similar to IDOC_QUEUE_SUS_MM).
If you had separate queues you could run execution of RSEOUT00 twice (for both queues separately).

IDoc Packaging – SAP PI 7.1 EHP1 (and above)

I did not yet use IDoc Packaging but wouldn't you be able to utilize split mapping afterwards? Or is it the case that PI automatically splits the IDoc already in the adapter so that in Mapping you are dealing with single IDocs? In either case you would be able to react on payload data (sales org is payload, not metadata)

Cheers
