Hello All,
we're looking for a possibility to have a "blank" template while initially opening it - whitout any data loaded. Meaning: user is opening a template via favourites in the excel add-in and it doesn't contains any data.
We can't find a was to implement it. Since it's also not possible to save a "empty" template. Which contains no data.
Is there any way to solve this request? Thanks in advance!

Hi Christian,
As mentioned, the only possible workaround for such a requirement would be to save an offline copy of the Excel template and then logon to the PA and start to populate the template from the New View menu.
Saving an empty template to the Server side, either via Favorites or Global templates is not supported.
Best,
Ivan

Hi Christian,
Do you mean that the template will not have any Keyfigure and attributes. This is as same as blank template. You can ask the user to keep an offline copy of the blank template and ask him to work from scratch. Otherwise it is impossible to the best of my knowledge.
