I have issues integrating Crystal for visual studio sp 37 into .net 8.0

This is my approach, I need help to fix:

1. All previous instances of crystal are uninstalled with Vs Studio 2022 running .net 8.0 framework duly closed.
2. Download the new Service Pack 37 x64 for 2022 and beyond, Download Sp 37 Runtime MSI x64 and Merge modules
3. Install them in sequence.
4. Open Vs 2022.
5. I cannot see Crystal Reports Viewer on the Toolbox. Adding using choose items, browse to the .net libraries installed- Error: Component added but disabled
6. Is not this service pack compatible with .net 8.0? Does that mean I am lost in the jungle of integrating Crystal with Vs.2022?

I have great respect for Crystal Reports since ver 8.5. 

Any tech there to help?

The highest supported level in .NET 4.81 ("classic"). No support for .NET core.
