Dear Experts,
I'm having problem regarding the tiles in the Fiori Launchpad. I'm doing Checks.
Done with the following; (using this reference: https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com/sap/fix/externalViewer/#/detail/Apps('F1577')/S11OP)
1. Installed all the required front/back end components.
2. Activated the required application (FIN_CHKBOOKMNG) and OData(FAP_CHECK_BOOKS_SRV).
3. Assigned the additional role needed to run the application.
-SAP_BR_AP_ACCOUNTANT
-SAP_BR_AP_MANAGER
I created a role based on business catalog (SAP_SFIN_BC_AP_CHECK). Unfortunately, I can't see the tiles after attaching the role to the user.
.What might be the error? I can't use the OData troubleshooting. There's no error log for this case.
Thanks for the help.
I would start by clearing the cache in SAP using the following reports (clear your browser cache as well):
/UI2/INVALIDATE_GLOBAL_CACHES
/UI2/INVALIDATE_CLIENT_CACHES
If that won't run the UI5 Index Calculation using report:
/UI5/APP_INDEX_CALCULATE
There is a lot of valuable information on the internet, so I recommend to use the search 🙂 For example, you can find this excellent document about Fiori Troubleshooting:

Hi all,
Apologies for the late response. These reports solved my problem. I don't know if upgrading the components is a factor. We've upgraded the system components to the updated SP version.
By running below reports in SE38, these corrected the tables and database.
/UI2/INVALIDATE_GLOBAL_CACHES
APB_LPD_CORRECT_TEXTTABLES
/UI2/CHIP_SYNCHRONIZE_CACHE
CHIP_RESET_CATALOG_CACHE
I've noticed sometimes it took time for the tiles to appear in launchpad so I keep on refreshing the page This is a problem that I need to figure out sooner.
Thank you so much. 🙂
