Hi -
Currently we have Red hat Linux 8.10 OS version for all our SAP systems including Application and HANA Database server. Currently All these servers are using VMware Virtualization and due to costing we are planning to migrate from VMware to Hyper-V. but due to below article , We came to know that Hyper-V virtualization is not supported for SAP systems (On-Prem).
Please suggest the concerns and other alternate options to get rid of VMware.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Sitlesh,
1. Microsoft Hyper-V supports Microsoft OS. Linux is not supported with Hyper-V on-premises but is supported with the Azure Cloud environment.
2. You can migrate all your SAP systems to Microsoft Windows servers using MS SQL or any database or go for Cloud solutions.

Hi Roshan, If you have learned both, it will be good, along with Cloud environments.
