HTTP failed: INTERNAL_ERROR in SAP Gateway Client for OData Service

Hi Experts,

I'm testing an OData service  in the SAP Gateway Client with the Request URI /sap/opu/odata/sap/.../$format=xml using a GET method. I’m encountering an "HTTP failed: INTERNAL_ERROR" message. The Error Log tab shows no additional details yet.

Could you please help me understand how to resolve this INTERNAL_ERROR?  is this a configuration issue or a system problem?

Before posting the questions, please search the Web. Or maybe you did it so indicate what you have searched and tried, that will avoid to search for you. There's a SAP note which corresponds exactly to your symptom.
