HTTP error: 401 (unauthorized) "Error in configSet"

Hi all,

I have installed Sap content server 6.5 on a standalone windows srv 2016/maxdb , all component patched.

On the Sap content server i have set adminsecurity=1 and the gruopadminsecurity write in the setup i leave unchanged= administrators

Now from my Sap Erp 6.0 ehp5, from the CSADMIN transaction i'm tryng to create a repository, and i am asked for insert the user domain administrator passwrod, i try an administrator account that in member of the local administrators windows group of the server of the content server , but the CSADMIN reject always with the error HTTP ERROR : 401(unauthorized) "Error in configSet".

I have followed exactly all step in the sap installation guide.

Any one can help me to solve this issue?

As reccomended i want to leave tha adminsecurity parameter set to 1 , so only authorized people can administer the Sap content server repository, and not set everyone full control on the file security ( this is a work around not a solution ).

Hello Antonio Voce,

Did you add an Administrator user to Act as Part of operating system local security policy?

If not please assign that policy to the user and try again. Make sure Admin user is able to RDP into the server and have access to the server.

Lets try this and if this still not work let me know we can look in to more detail.
