You can use use based on you requirement.

once you copied your API from discovery you can apply the polices and target system configurations.

you can use the police or u can create your own polices .

once your are deployed your API you will get the API URL with that you can call your API with CPI.

Flow will be like.

SENDER--> CPI ---> API.
