How to upgrade SAP diagnostic agent.

To upgrade the Diagnostics Agent you have two options:

1. To upgrade all the agents connected to the Solution Manager
   1. You can upgrade the LM-SERVICE, which is the main component of the Diagnostics Agent, following the KBA's
      1. 2475657 - How to check the LM-SERVICE Software component version applied on your system
      2. 2724971 - How to find the correct latest patch of LM-Service for the relevant SP level of Solution Manager system
      3. 2686969 - Upgrading the LM-SERVICE Patch Level
2. To upgrade individually you'll need to uninstall and install the Diagnostics Agent again

      1. To uninstall go to the section Additional Information > Uninstalling an SAP System or Single Instances
      2. To install follow the guide from the start

Are you sure that when we updated the LM-Service that all connected agents will be updated also ?

With option 1 you'll keep the old exe directory with kernel and sapjvm. So you have to change them manually.
