How to Update Visual Administrator (VA) Version ?

Hello Everybody.

I have installed Solution Manager 4.0 on Abap + Java AddIn Stack.

Component Versions:

WAS 7.0

J2EE Engine SP08.

When I launch de VA the error message is:

=== Error Message ====

Warning: Visual Administrator version is older than the version of J2EE Engine kernel.

Visual Administrator version: SP6

J2EE Engine version SP8

=== End of Error Message ====

Question: Do you where can I find the Update and how to update Visual Administrator ?.

You need to deploy <b>coretools08_0-10003456.sca</b> using SDM. You can download this file from SAP servicemarket place.

Please see sap note 758298 on how to move /update the Visual Administrator.

you can update it by remoteGUI.bat, then deploy the update file, for NW2004S, the file is "CORETOOLS10_0-10003456.SCA"

Hi Alembert,

If the SAP system is installed on Windows, what I did before was to copy the usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\admin directory from server to PC, then run go.bat.
