How to translate forms in SAP Build Process Automation

Hi experts,

I'm currently setting up workflows using SAP Build Process Automation. Now I wonder how to translate the displayed texts within the forms (notification or approval forms). Any tips?

Within the Workflow Management service it was possible to translate the displayed fields, so it should be possible in SAP Build Process Automation as well...

René

Since Q3 2023 it is possible to import a workflow UI as a form to SAP Build Process Automation. A good tutorial can be found here.

But in this case the form must be created by a pro-code developer. Still, forms created directly in SAP Build Process Automation by means of low-code/no-code cannot be translated. Is there any plan to integrate a translation feature to forms created in SAP Build Process Automation?

Hi,

is there any plan to enable internationalization (i18n) for forms in SAP Build Process Automation? Still, when creating forms in SAP Build process Automation those can only be maintained in a single language.

Hello paulinab,

Is it something planned in the roadmap and if yes, when is the target delivery date?

I could not imagine explaining my end user that using latest BTP products like process automation, they do not have this kind of basic feature.

Thanks

Hello,
SBPA does not have a translation option yet. The user can use Google translate option to translate the text to the chosen language.

Hi paulinab,

SAP is retiring the SAP Workflow Management Service on SAP BTP. The successor service should be SAP Build Process Automation. But within SAP Workflow Management multi-language support is enabled. So, when the "old" service is now deprecated and not available anymore for our customers but the new service does not support mult-language for work items how can customers migrate their existing workflows?
