Hello Experts,

I need an advise that how can we stop entries getting accumulated in SMQ1 for one of the Logistics module.

We have upgraded our LO module in ECC called DBM 6 to DBM 7.

I have the queues for older version extractors still getting accumulating in SMQ1 which we are not processing as we are no more using them.

How can I deactivate or stop these queues related to older version getting accumulated in SMQ1.

If I deactivate the extractors in LBWE for that application will queues stop accumulating or pls advise what can fallow to stop them.

Thanks,
Santhosh.

Hi Santosh,

--> try to unschedule the V3 jobs (this job might have been scheduled to run multiple times a day inorder to capture the delta entries into the Queue).

--> Clear the LBWQ entries for that data source.

--> deactivate the extractor using LBWE if you are not going to use this any more.

Hello Prashanth,

Thanks for the reply. I tried to stop the V3 job but I don't see the job released at all searching for the job in SM37.

There are no queues in LBWQ for the application.

I tried deactivating the extractors some of them got deactivated as some of them didnt allow me change by maintaining the extractor structure.

Can you please advise whats the procedure to deactivate is that click on update maintenance and then the traffic light turns to yellow does that mean the extractor got deactivated.

I made this activity in dev client 100 where It proposed TRs but when I went and checked in the dev testing client  200 not all the extractors were inactive.

Please advise.

Thanks,
santhosh

Hi Santhosh,

Please search at SM37,V3 jobs names will be like LIS-BW-VB_APPLICATION* and user id *

There will  be application number in job name , as per your data source, check related data source v3 collective jobs are in active or not. if job is active related your application number, un-schedule it.

At LBWE, there is activate icon, specific to data source at extreme right side, make that as inactive .

Click on the job control, there job/print parameters are in green status, make them as red, that mean your stopping V3 jobs.

Traffic lights are in yellow mean data source is in active.

Thanks

Hi Santosh,

Can you tell me how you are searching for the job? search for the job starting with name LIS_BW* and select finished ,scheduled, released jobs.

As you said you had new version of LO being used under the same application right, If you suspend the V3 job then you will not get the delta entries for the new LO which is in use.

Simply set the LO data source to inactive in LBWE that's it...

post the What is the old LO data source and new LO ds?

Hello Prashant,

Thanks for the reply, I have set the datasources not needed to inactive and the traffic light shows yellow that means its Inactive. I have done this by making extract structure under update as Inactive.

Would this suffice or do I need change the structure maintenance , datasource generation and update all the three tabs in LBWE.

Thanks,

Santhosh.

Hi Santhosh,

If I deactivate the extractors in LBWE for that application will queues stop accumulating?

Think so and Delete init in bw side and stop v3(unserialized) job at LBWE.

Thanks
