How to setup Solman monitoring and alerting on MII Schedulers?

Hi Team,

Can you please let me know how to setup alert for SAP MII scheduler jobs. The jobs are stopping frequently. There was no Solman alert setup for that. It would be really helpful if someone provide the steps to setup the Solman alert for the scheduler Jobs.

Dear customer,

Currently, in System Monitoring application we only deliver following standard metrics to monitor MII in technical instance template SAP MII (all versions)

• MII DB query response time
• MII connector response time
• MII service response time
• MII transaction response time

In case you want to monitor/alert on MII schedulers, maybe Interface and Connection monitoring is more in line with your requirement.

ICMon provides metric "Number of schedulers in critical status" which can calculate the number of MII schedulers in a critical status (PENDING or STOPPED).

Please follow the guide SAP MII Channel and configure the settings.
