How to set up secure connection to the Portal

With the upgrade, we would like to change to using secure connections. We have created a certificate for each server to be used for this purpose.

I believe the certificate files need to go into the tomcat/conf folder.
Are there any changes needed to the server.xml or web.xml files?

The certificates are .jks files.
