Hi All!
After resolving the issue with getting an ATC tool failure when checking enhancements in an S/4HANA 758 system, I'm now trying to include enhancements in a check run but the provided objects are ignored and no check happens from what I can tell.
I'm including both the enhancement names in our Z-namespace as well as the enhanced SAP objects SAPMV45A and SAPMV50A but compared to a NW 750 system I can no longer explicitely include enhanced objects as the checkbox no longer exists:
Regardless of which combination of object set or free object selection I try, the check ends after a few seconds as if it's not even looking at any of the objects to check:
When I run a comparable check in our central ATC system which is on S/4HANA 756 for an enhancement of SAPMV45A in a NW 750 system, it runs a couple of minutes and produces a result with expected findings:
Does anybody know what the trick is to get a comparable result for enhancements in an S/4HANA 758 system?
This is what I provide when defining the check run, both in the central ATC-system for a check in NW 750 and the new S4HANA development system:
Thanks much and cheers
Bärbel
Update June 13, 2025: In the meantime I raised an OSS-incident which is currently in process by SAP. I'll provide updates as I learn more about this issue.
Request clarification before answering.
Based on the investigation done by SAP-Support, the most likely reason for the issue is, that I was re-using a check run defined while the system was not yet (fully) converted to S/4HANA 7.58. What they saw during debugging was that the series was missing a certain flag that leads to the inclusion of enhancements, but that flag cannot be set anywhere on the UI in release SAP_BASIS 7.58.
When I created a new check run for several objects from scratch and executed that, enhancements were automatically included in the checks and results.

Hello Bärbel,
did you try the "Modified Objects" tab?

Thanks for the suggestion, Daniel. I think I had already tried that in vain as well the other day but tried it again just now and the result is the same: after a few seconds the non-result is there and I don't see entries for "checking enhanced objects" like I do when doing the check for the NW 750 counterpart of the objects.
