Hi everyone,

i was wondering if there is a way to save data on filesystem from cloud services like SAC, Datasphere etc..

Is it possible to connect these via Cloud Connector and save data on prem in filesystem? Can you use integration suite for this scenario?

Greetings

You don't need the Cloud Connector here: the SCC is for letting cloud services access data that resides on-premises, without having to open the firewall that's protecting the on-premises internal network. But in this case you are doing the opposite: access data that resides in the cloud. So no need to go through an SCC here, you can access the data directly, e.g. with an HTTP client that calls the WebService, REST API or whatever interface the cloud service provides.

One way of doing that without having to do any coding, might be to use a middleware server like the SAP Business Connector which has built-in pre-defined steps (like an HTTP client, XML parser, FTP client for "putting" a file on an on-premises FTP server), that can be combined with a few mouse-clicks.

The Business Connector is EOL end of 2027 so id like to use an modern Application. Are there any alternatives from SAP?

There are alternatives, but SAP BC is still the fastest, the leanest, the most robust and the cheapest (no license fee, very little cost for hardware as well as administration).

(And the first time, it was declared "end-of-life" was in 2002 -- so far it has always been prolonged...)
