I attempted to save a content in SAP Web Companion under Fieldglass, but I encountered a "Save Failed" error. Upon inspecting the issue, the preview tab displayed the message: "UE_CONSTRAINT_VIOLATION."

Does anyone know the possible reasons for this error or have experience resolving it?

Hi,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to identify your specific issue without more detail.  It would be:

- The user getting the error does not have authoring permissions in Manager
- There is an issue with SSO and so the user getting the error is not identified as an Enable Now author
- SAP Enable Now Manager server settings may not be setup correctly
- The SAP Companion configuration is not complete or correct

Given that it could be a whole range of things, I would start with this post.  If after going through the post you do not have an answer, perhaps raise a support ticket using the Component ID KM-SEN-CMP and get the support team to take a look.

Regards
Shane
