How to replicate data from 3.5 Export datasources on 7.31 BW systems to BW 7.5 on HANA using ODP ?

Hi guys, as explained in the title we want to extract data from a few BW 7.31 (lowest is Support pack 17) systems to a BW 7.5 on HANA cloud system.

From trawling through various resources I sense that BW Export datasources (beginning 8*) CANNOT be exposed to ODP and that this is a deliberate exclusion by SAP.

Do we have to create new ODP enabled extractors in the source systems ?

If so, is there an easy way of doing this.

Thanks Andrey, yes we had to go through several SAP notes that were implemented on the NW source systems in order to activate ODP functionality.
