No, there is no way to do this.

No way at all or no way for an user, dear Mr. Administrator?

Other than directly manipulating the database (which I do not want to do), there is no way at all.

Thanks for the clarification - seems reasonable. (I just had expected there would be an "operator mode" or something like that to fiddle around with user/account management.)

It seems dangerous to allow user removal in general. If the user had not done anything on the system, it's probably okay, but as soon as that user has done something, removing that user from the system starts to have a lot of side-effects.

Well, I had more thought of a "merging two users into one" operation - and I guess that's what Thomas is concerned with. FWIW, when SQLA started, I had accidentally created two accounts (primarily as I hadn't had an OpenID at hand at first), and Breck was able (and willing:) to merge them into one. For postings/votes and other contributions, that would have been like a "cascading update of the user account". - Really deleting users who have made contributions won't do because we all don't want RI violations, for sure!
