Hi
I am trying to rearrange the measures in a table - it looks like the only way is to remove all measures and then add them in the order you would like them to be in
I do not have a drag and drop option inside the Account selection setting.
Does anyone have a good suggestion on how this could be done in another way - as they tend to shift place if there is a SQL error. And then you need to do sorting and top 5 again

Request clarification before answering.
Hello Rene,
the option of rearranging columns (assuming measures are in the column) is not yet available for all data sources. For HANA Live this is for example available, for BW Live this is being worked on.

1. Hover over Measures, Three dots will appear.
2. Click on the three dots. Select "Edit Member Order". Arrange the measures as per your requirement.

Hi Ingo
Thanks - I am using imported data from BW. So I am guessing that it not supported
Do you think this is going to be supported?

Hello Rene,
currently that is not supported yet but it is been worked on.

Even on SAC new (planning) measure models, when in application designer script trying to add/remove measures with setDimensionFilter() API, the manually configured measure sorting gets lost...
There's also no measure input control possible.
So even on SAC's own models there are still gaps.

Hi,
this is still a limitation with BW live datasources, right?

Hi Rene,
create custom measures as simple assignment of already existing measures in the order they need to be on a table.

I also would like to have this functionality: free (=manual) order of measure columns in linked models, based on By Design datasource(s).

Hi if it’s something not provided - then I suggest to open up an improvement request
But it might take +1 1/2 years - we just need to have all the stuff no-one voted for / requested by anyone developed by SAP.
good luck
I have actually noticed a different behavior. The measures in a table appear in the order in which they were added to the model. For example, I had 3 measures - Net Sales, Gross Sales and Costs (created in that order). In the table I want to display them like this: Gross Sales, Costs, Net Sales. I first added Gross Sales, then Costs and they appeared in the order expected, however when I added Net Sales last, it appeared to the left of Gross Sales. Thus the solution was to make a minor modification(and revert it after) to the Net Sales measure in the model, to make it be the last measure that was changed so that it appears last.
