How to read .plv file for ABAP CDS view performance analysis and tie it back to CDS view?

Hi Experts,

I have been going over various blogs on 'how to analyse performance of the ABAP CDS view'. Although there is enough documentation on the steps to perform the analysis, but there isn't any documentation on how to read/analyse the .plv file in HANA Planviz perspective and tie it back to the CDS view.

As in, which join/which line/which underlying cds view is causing performance issue?

What is the threshold (in ms) for a step to be considered for a performance analysis?

Most of the times when an analytical query, built on a CDS view is run for performance test, it isn't captured properly in the ST05 trace. Then a work around is to capture the technical name of the analytical query prefix it with 2C and run in tcode-rsrt and capture the log in ST05 trace. All these issues impact the analysis process. 

Any solution to the above issues or directing to a better/simpler process for CDS view performance analyses is greatly appreciated.
