how to quickly deploy SAPBI standard business content queries to BO reports

Hi All,

We have the following scenario for our SAP BI.

We have installed the BW queries for SAP standard content which comes to more than 100 reports.

Now we see 2 ways:

1) Create a Universe for each BW query and build one web intelligence report out of each universe.

2) Use Olap Intelligence connection avoiding the universe creation and to create one OLAP intelligence report for each BW query which could save a lot of effort.

Which of the above 2 options is better?

Are there any drawbacks with the second approach?

to create a universe gives you a wide range of access to this data,

you can access this universe using Webi for ad-hoc query or Query as a web service or Crystal Xcelsius or even Crysal reports and the other Business Objects tool

but for the voyager you create an access to this cube for the power user only to do some analysis, but they will not be able to do an ad-hoc queries.

by voyager i mean the new version of the OLAP intelligence, after SP2

at the end, its depend on your requirements, and what exactly you want to do,

to create universes you still need to install the Business objects integration kit for SAP solutions.
