How to push the container value to next step of the workflow

Hello all,

First of all i want to know what the functionality of "SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT"is.

Is it possible to write some values in the input_container of this wapi.

if i can write the value into this wapi how can i push this values to the next step of my workflow.

Please help me in this issue.

hi ,

the functionality of SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT is : when u define or use an event and register it in the event registry table ; ie for a particular bor object, particular workflow should be triggered for a event.

Actually this function module gets called inorder to create that particular event depending on the criteria u have set in ur bor object.This creates the event , so that the event is compared against the entry maintained in the event registry table and the corresponding workflow gets called.

SAP_WAPI_WRITE_CONTAINER can be used inorder to write the container.

Hi Balaji.

SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT is a function module to trigger an event.

To push value from your code into your workflow/ workflow task you can use statement SWC_ELEMENT_SET.
