How to perform Monitoring for Long running execution

Dear SAP, We are having issues in our system monitoring from solution manager since we are not able to find or use a metric in order to monitor long running executions of programs that can cause performance degradation in our systems and lately we are having many problems due to this many running executions so we need help to find or create a custom metric in system monitoring of solution manager in order to monitor and prevent this scenarios.

Dear Customer,

Please be aware of that there is no standard metric/alert can be used in SAP Solution Manager System Monitoring template.

Hence, recommended you create one custom metric and custom alert to meet your requirement.
