How to pass input parameter from SDI Flowgraph task to the Calculation View?

Hi,

I want to pass input parameter value from SDI Flowgraph task to the calculation view.

I have HANA Calc. view with mandatory input parameter as source for SDI flowgraph and column table as data sink.

I am not able to execute SDI task because source Calc. view has an input parameter.

Error:

SAP DBTech JDBC: [686]: start task error: column store error: search table error: [34023] Instantiation of calculation model failed;exception 306106: Undefined variable: $$ZSDI$$. Variable is marked as required but not set in the query

I have tried SDI flowgraph variable which is working fine, but my requirement is to pass values to input parameter of the calc. view while SDI task execution

Is there any way to pass input parameter to the calc. view from SDI flowgraphs task?

Best Regards,

Avinash

Hello Avinash,

are you using the XSC Version of the flowgraph editor? If so you should be able to deal with parameterized CalcViews as a Source.

You can access them by double clicking on your DataSource Node and in the bottom half it should have a Tab "Custom Parameters". Here you should be able to provide the values for those calcviews.

If this is not coming up, can you please check your hana version and let me know which one it is?

Thanks,

Timo

Thanks Timo,

I was trying on HANA Studio earlier.

Yes, in XSC version flowgraph ,I am successfully able to deal with input parameter based calc Views.

I am on SAP HANA 1.00.122.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Hi Timo,

1 more question related to this topic.

Can I deal with input parameter based column view from HANA system 'A' exposed as virtual table in HANA System 'B' using HANA DP?

I tried with parameterized Calc View within the system in SDI flowgraph, will this properties valid for remote parameterized Calc View?

Thanks,

Avinash
