How to monitor the failed PI messages.

Hi,

We have setup icmon alerting for sxmb_moni message failure at ECC end.
The alert condition is for application error.
However, we are getting alerts for each and every messages through that channel irrespective of status.
We have additionally setup parameters for critical message failure with condition application error.
Please help to get the alert only for failed messages

Dear Customer,

To monitor the faild messages only, I recommend you to use template "Process Integration (PI)" and enable metrics "Number of cancelled PI messages" and "Number of erroneous PI messages". This template can be used for the monitoring of messages processed both in the ABAP and JAVA stack of PI.
