How to monitor emails that is been sent from CAPM application in BTP

  1. We have created a SAP BTP application to send mails to vendors using SAP-Cloud-SDK-mail-Client library, we need to monitor emails and their status that’s being sent from the CAP application. Please let us know how can we do the same in BTP
  2. We have referred few help documents from sap and trying to implement same in BTP.
  3. Attaching few screenshots of the application and destination configuration we have did and help document link.

Hi 

To monitor email status in SAP BTP using your CAP application:

1. Use the SAP BTP Cockpit for monitoring under Service Monitoring or Application Logs.
2. Enable logging in your CAP application to track email transactions using libraries like `@sap/logging`.
3. Check Log Management in SAP BTP Cockpit for email-related entries.
4. Ensure the Email Service in Cloud Foundry is configured correctly, and review service-specific logs.
5. Verify that your email destination configuration in Destinations is accurate.

Hi Umasaral,

Thanks for your answer , In the above help document for monitoring email with Email transmission app, we are getting emails that are triggered from s4 environment, but the emails that are triggered from SAP BTP CAPM application is not shown, Is there any specific config we need to do for this to show mail status in the app or Email monitoring app is to show email status from s4 environment.  Kindly help me through
