How to manage CPI accounts across same org different country?

Hi,

We are in the process of migrating from PO to CPI. I am in the process of building POCs.

Q2: How to manage the CPI migration where in our current stack we use two PIs in different countries ? 

Q2: Another question important to me is File interface. In CPI1 if we want to send/receive files, how to replace the shared drives? I have come across something called cloud connector, how will it help me and can you please share any docs that will help me to create a POC.  And if we want the CPI1 to send files to shared drives in another country, can we still use cloud connector for CPI1 to send files or do we need to send it to the CPI that the team in the other country setup?
