How to integrate Safety Stock from IBP to ERP ECC

There is a need to transfer safety stocks from IBP to ERP ECC using CPI DS.

Is there some kind of standard template or guide?

Hello,

You can use any key figure extraction template and replace the Source Key figure in IBP with the 'Safety Stock' key figure and publish it to ECC.

You can create your own as well. In the target system ECC, you just have to update Standard table (MARC) or custom table based on your business process configuration.

In addition to the Gourav's comments above I only wanted to highlight that the main gap is that Safety stock in IBP is time-series data and in ECC safety stock is static value.

So you need to decide what you want to do.

- aggregate and make safety stock results in IBP as static and then send it to ECC as static value

- develop a custom table with "time" as a additional dimension in ECC, load dynamic safety stock results to this table and then put it to material master each time bucket. It is still not a really dynamic safety stock, but rather "pseudo-dynamic".
