how to implement data slice with sql

Dear all,

I tried today together with a colleague to implement a simple data slice with sql.

we followed the deciúmentation from SAP help but nevertheless the data slice only from ABAP was called, but not our sql implementation.

Is there a how to paper showing each step to do?

How can we force the system to use the sql instead of ABAP?

I think the answer is contained in the following thread:

(use 'Show all). You cannot force the system to call the SQL Script implementation, the system decides this.
