Hi,
I'm using the new CMS data access driver for BI 4.2 to query the metadata of the CMS repository database.I'm trying to create a webi report with all the existing groups in the BO system and index the folders which the group grants access.Request clarification before answering.
Here is an answer from the wiki: Unlock the CMS database with new data access driver for BI 4.2
Hi, all what you can do is to create a query that extract the security defined on any object (webi, folder, universe, etc...) as you can see defined on "user security" tab on CMC. The dimensions that extract these information are: PrincipalName and Access under "Infoobjects-Security" folder. "PrincipalName" retrieves the name of the user or of the usergroup and "Access" retrieves the ACL or specified right granted to that user or usergroup.
hope this helps, regards Thomas

I have managed to create the webi report I needed with the CMC data.
Thank you very much for the information Thomas!
Regards.
