How to get a list of Features (and TRs) for a scheduled Deployment?

Dear SAP Cloud ALM Community,

We are very excited about the new Deployment feature in Cloud ALM. In fact, for us, it is a must-have feature for our on-premise systems.

However, we were disappointed that there's no easy way of checking which features would be taken for the upcoming deployment. If I understand correctly, I would need to take the list of projects from the deployment view, go to the Features view, and individually get a selection of the features in the appropriate status, for each project, one by one. This is not very practical.

The concrete requirement is, we want to get to a list of transport requests, to run our transport checks using our 3rd party tool. We also want to compare the list of transport requests that was actually imported with the list the should have been imported...

Thank you!
Bruno

Hi, Bruno,

For any request you want that is not possible, you can submit your ideas in the Influencer Campaign:

If you have a request for a feature/function that is not presently available, you can submit it at:

 - SAP Cloud ALM for Implementation  https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/3501
 - SAP Cloud ALM for Operations https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/3525

But I would share a couple points that perhaps you are unaware of:  In Implementation > Analysis and Reports > Cross Project Overview, there is a Transport Analysis option that allows you to query for "deployed" transports:

In Cross-Project Analysis, you can search multiple projects, multiple deployment plans, etc and see Features by Project > breakdown of status:

Maybe this will be helpful to you.

Best regards,
Paula
