How to fetch the data from a page in SAC dashboard for further use?

Hi Colleagues,

As I’m new to SAP Analytics Cloud, could you advise on fetching data from dashboards (single charts or entire pages)? I want to utilize this data for further use.

1. Is scripting required, if Yes, how I can do that?

2. Supported formats (Excel, CSV, etc.)?

3. Any automation/governance best practices?

A brief demo or tips would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your response! I'm aware that end users have the option to export data by downloading it. However, my question is from a developer’s perspective — how can I programmatically access or utilize the data that is visible in SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud)?

I’d like to explore ways to enhance or repurpose this data to deliver additional value or improved visualizations for users.
