I am query which may seems very basic but I have doubt here.
There is a Standard Odata service for which customer wanted to change something in the Odata output(may be wanted to change calculated value/ existing field with concatenated values etc..) and then call some Standard FM, in these cases there are no BADI available.
So, what is the recommendation from SAP on these because I have seen customer doing modification in the standard code(as no enhancement points/BADI) available. Do customer need to raise a query to SAP to give enhancement point in the standard Odata DPC_EXT class?
Customer cant even do Implicit enhancements because they wanted to do these changes in middle of the code of DPC_EXT. What is the best practise/recommendation from SAP.
