How to enable "OCI Catalog" in the Fiori App - "Create Purchase Requisition"?

Former Member

The configurations for the Catalog including activating services and user is in place. However, in 1610 - "create purchase requisition" app, the "catalog" is disabled. Has someone faced this issue and/or what could be the resolution?

Refers to 1909:

1) 1st misunderstanding: Values maintained for users/business partners/positions/org units in PPOMA do not flow to table USER_CATALOGS.

2) But if there is an entry in table USER_CATALOGS for a user, then this user also has access to the catalog.

3) You maintain table USER_CATALOGS directly using the "Default settings for user - Procurement" app for Admins(!) and not the default settings of the user. Both look identical, except in the app the catalog entries become editable (for admins).

I got with to work with PPOMA as well as with the app.

Hi,

Please put part of your catalog name followed by * in the search area, then you will get all the catalog contain the this part name

Also, you will get the Catalog button displayed, as this button is care about enabled external catalogs

I'm having the same issue. I've gone through V4 of the cookbook several times, but the data we're assigning to the position isn't getting pulled across.

The cookbook suggests to create a business partner of type BUP003 and assign it to the position, but that business partner type doesn't exist in our 1610 implementation.

Previously the tile "Default Settings for Users" didn't seem to have much of an effect in the 'Create Requisitions' tile but I think they have fixed that in the latest feature pack. I'm not sure if this is what we should be using (instead of using PPOMA) to assign these defaults to users or not, but it seems to be working for now.

You can assign a catalog to a user in 'Default Settings for Users' but it looks like they are still working out some bugs here.

Hi Yogesh,

First, go to the Fiori app reference library.

https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com/sap/fix/externalViewer/#/detail/Apps('F1643')/S7OP

You will find the note link. It has the attchment S4HANA_SSP_Config_CookbookV4.pdf.
