How to display error message defined in routine when running DTP ?

Hi Experts,

Defined Error Message with se91 in the end routine of transformation:

se91

But the error message of DTP is not the same as "lv_message", which is defined in the routine.

So , how to display Error Message defined in the transformation routine when running DTP with background user ?

If you want to add messages to a specific record, then the internal table MONITOR must be filled. This can be done with the help of the MONITOR_REC structure. See the docu:

Giving an E,A,X message directly from the TRFN is a wrong design as it will stop the processing (job will be set to canceled). Such "error handling" should be avoided and instead the monitor entries should be written or the record should be simply skipped.
