How to Deploy Package /SALM/CHARM_REPACK_MS to Managed System?

The Focused Build configuration guides state that in order to use the Repack functionality the package /SALM/CHARM_REPACK needs to be deployed to each managed development system where repack is to be performed.

Guidance is needed on how to deploy this package.

To import/transport the package into the managed system you need to follow these steps:

1. Logon to your SAP Solution Manager System
2. Start Transaction SE80
3. Navigate to package /SALM/CHARM_REPACK_MS
4. Right click on this Package
5. Perform activity "Write Transport Entry"
6. Choose All Objects in the popup
7. Select a Transport Request and import it in the managed systems
    

You can use transport of copies to store the package and import it into the managed system.
