How to Delete Node from Business Catalog on Role

Hello ,

i have made one Business Catalog on FIORI , then i make one Role and i include this BC on my role.

Now from this Business Catalog i don't want all tiles on my Role.

When I try to delete a Node it doesn't let me delete it.

How can I proceed with the action of deleting a Tile without affecting the BC that I have created ?

I think the best way is to Copy the Business Catalog to the other New Business Catalog and then to Delete or add some Tiles.

My question is , how to copy BC --> New BC from Fiori Launchpad ?

Hi T,

If you separate the Tiles and Target Mapping, you could have a Business Catalog with a fixed set of Tiles and you could control the visibility of the tiles by adjusting only the contents of a Business Catalog with Target Mappings without changing the Business Catalog with Tiles.

This is what I wanted to avoid ... to creating a BC for each Role 😞

You can't have specific tiles from a BC in a role. This is why BC exist, to have one per role. Therefore, you should have different BCs for different roles if different tiles are required.
