How to define custom geographic areas in a SAP Analytics Cloud geomap?

Hi Experts, newbie to SAP Analytics Cloud here.

Is it possible to define custom geographic areas in a built-in sac geomap?.

By default the geomap displays the country's map and the states (province) maps. My requirement is to define some custom regions where each of them group one or multiple states. It would be like an intermediate level between the country level and states level.

Any recomendation is more than welcome, thanks.

The data used is in attached excel image (image 1). The requirement is to display in the geomap custom areas based on the column 'custom_region'. Each 'custom_region' group multiple provinces.
The hierarchy for drilling must be (image 2): country -> custom regions -> provinces.
There is a warning when selecting the custom region level (image 3) indicating the absent of the corresponding shape.
May be is required to upload a custom geomap including all the required shapes?
Is it possible to upload my own geomap to sac?

Do you have custom defined region/ state/ cities?

I have created this by using custom geo dimension.

Hi Pedro,
I do not have idea of adding custom shapes. can you try to check buble if that working to confrim if its shape issue or some thing else.
