How to create Odata connection from BTP instance

1,633

I'm trying to connect an OData service with a BTP instance to pull data from SAP Cloud ALM into SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). However, I'm encountering issues during the connection setup, particularly with identifying and configuring the necessary OAuth2 details like the Token URL and Data Service URL.

Has anyone successfully connected an OData service for SAP Cloud ALM data in BTP? If so, could you share the steps or best practices for setting up this connection? Any insights on troubleshooting common connection issues would also be highly appreciated

Hi,

All of this information is documented in our official blog for maintaining a connection between SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Cloud ALM.

Most of the data you require is contained in the SAP Cloud ALM Service Key

  • The OAuth credentials are attributes "clientid" and "clientsecret".
  • The token URL is the "url" attribute (the word "authentication" will be in the URL value).

Thanks and regards,
John
