How to create a section fragment?

Hello Experts,

I was recently tasked with creating a new section to display some information in the standard form of the hcm.fab.myprofile application. But unfortunately nothing came of it. Now I will describe my steps and I will hope that you write to me at what stage I was mistaken
1. I created an adaptation project and went to edit mode.

2. Created a section

3. I added some structure to the .xml to make sure the section existed.

4. I reload the visual editor and see no changes in the structure and on the form (

(UPDATED) during loading, you can see my section for a split second, but after the editor is fully loaded, the section disappears

I will be grateful if you can tell me what the problem is.

Hi,

which SAPUI5 version are you using in your project? (You can check in .vscode/settings.json file).

What is the content of your "changes" folder after you make the change? Do you see a .change file in addition to the newly created fragment?

Can you open the developer tools and check if an error is thrown in the console when creating this change? If so, please post the output here.

Using WebIde we can add sections but do you know how do the same using Business Application Studio?
