How to copy a Solution or Business Process Hierarchy in 7.2?

Now that we have advanced to 7.2 and done away with the use of Projects in Solution Manager. Can someone advise how to copy and paste a business process hierarchy or process nodes/folders between development branches of 2 different solutions? The copy and move do not work. What alternatives are available?

Hi Ramesh,

It is recommended to have only ONE Solution in Solution Manager 7.2 and multiple solution are only recommended in rare cases. Check the Content Activation guide.

As already shared by community the only option to do copy pasted among different solution is to use EXPORT IMPORT.

Hi Ramesh,

The SPS 04 also does not have the selective Structure Export/Import. But you can use the "Scope" to limit the structure you want to download. In Karthik's reply you can see the Screen shot with Default scope for Scope. If you have created a scope with the required structures, you can select that Scope for the Export. This would result in the download of JSON file which would only have the limited structure you have selected in that Scope.

As i know current SP03 version not having option to copy and paste the structure from one solution to another solution in SOLDOC.Not sure about SP04

In Soladm, select solution -> particular branch and export it. it will create *JSON file and use this file to import in any solution.

Export/Import option will help to export/import the branch wise copy in the solution. In SP03 verison export/import content wont copies the whole solution like all the branches( production, maintenance,..) in single shot.
