how can we check for scheduled ABAP jobs (SM37) using configuration validation (or any other tool)?
Details: We want to make sure that on selected target systems a custom job is scheduled and in status "released" with a given step list (ABAP Report & variant). If the job is not scheduled or has not been executed within a given time limit (current time - max time stamp last job run) we'd like to get an alert / report.
Standard Job management seems to be not suitable: It's alerting targets on broken / failed jobs. If I job is not running at all it won't be recognized.
Any suggestions?
