How to change a value in Idoc flat file in SAP CPI?

Hi,

I want to change the data value at multiple places in IDOC flat file in Iflow in CPI.

E.g. 'E2EDL456' to 'E2EDL455'

Please suggest how it can be done using groovy script without changing the file format and also via converting to XML.

Use XML instead of flat files which simplifies what you need to do.

I was referring to ensuring that the outgoing IDocs are setup for an XML port instead of a port that relies on flat files, then you don't have to do any conversion to handle in XML.

You would need the metadata for the structure of the IDoc to attempt anything like that... IMO it's too much effort.
