How many records are gets uploaded in HANA S4 of a CAPM Application

Hello Experts,

I am uploading a excel sheet in CAPM application. In service all records are read and inserting into database.

But if any case 1st row having column of size 10 character string (eg: 'abcdefghij') but in table column size it support only 4 character string (Eg: 'abcd').

In this

case1. database will reject all records without inserting

case2: if it skip my first row and insert all rows. if this happens how would i know how many records are inserted.

Please give me answer
