We have a requirement in the SAP MDG CR approval process that the requestor should never be able to approve the change request even if he/she is part of the approval group. We have achieved this by implementing the MDG Agent determination BAdI.
However, this does not fulfill the requirement 100%. Because, our customer uses the "Workflow Substitution" feature extensively in order to substitute another user to act on the change request actions during the vacation period etc.
When we use the Workflow substitution, there is a possibility that the rule gets violated if the requestor is acting as substitution for the approver.
So, do have any standard way of handling this requirement in the Workflow substitution or any standard enhancement option like BAdI in the Substitution?
